Our Story - as written by my boyfriend, Stephen.

We are two hearts connected, seperated by 400 kilometres but our love keeps us closer than ever. We met through a simple iPhone app which lets you talk to people from all over the world. One day, we started talking, and exchanged phone numbers. It started out over the first couple of weeks with some texts here and there, nothing too special. As the days and weeks progressed, so did our communication. Before we knew it, we were texting each other every day, good mornings and good nights. It only took a few short months before we fell in love with each other.

We would text each other every single day (That was over 1 year ago, and still do), and talk about everything from school, to our friends, to our lives, learning and caring about each other more and more with every text. Shortly after that, we started talking on the phone to each other. Once again, it started out with short 20 or 30 minute phone calls about once every week or two. This quickly progressed to longer conversations more often, and we now talk to each other every day over the phone. Sometimes for as long as 5 or 6 hours.

This communication keeps us close; we share details starting with waking up till right that second. It helps so much, and we would recommend it to everyone as a way to keep your love strong. We arranged a visit to happen about 8 months into the relationship, but the visit never happened. Things come up in life, and you have to push past them and stay strong. About two months later, we did get to see each other for the first time. Even though we had never met face to face once, within minutes it felt like we had known and seen each other our whole lives.

We have seen each other only a total of 7 days, and just celebrated our one year anniversary. We love each other as much as we did one year ago, and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
